About
About This Site
Walnut Creek Electrical Upgrades is an independent local resource that explains electrical upgrades for homes in and around Walnut Creek, and connects homeowners with licensed electricians who do the work.
How the pages are written
- Costs come only from named sources, shown as ranges, with the source linked.
- Utility steps and incentives are taken from PG&E, the IRS and program pages, with the date we checked them.
- Code references point to the National Electrical Code as adopted in California. We don't publish do-it-yourself electrical instructions.
- Photos show typical equipment and settings, not jobs done for this site.
What we are and aren't
We are not an electrical contractor and don't do electrical work. Walnut Creek Electrical Upgrades is an independent website that connects homeowners with local electrical contractors; contractors may pay us for project requests. We are not affiliated with PG&E, MCE or any city or county. Verify any contractor's license at cslb.ca.gov.
